In ihrem neuesten Abenteuer müssen Spanky, Alfalfa, Darla und der Rest der chaotischen Bande die Bäckerei ihrer Großmutter retten, welche in finanziellen Schwierigkeiten steckt. Ein reicher Geschäftsmann hat es auf die Bäckerei abgesehen. Er will sie übernehmen, nur um sie anschließend abzureißen. Die kleinen Superstrolche probieren auf verschiedenstem Wege an Geld zu kommen. Doch weder eine Haustierwäscherei noch ein Taxiservice der etwas anderen Art kann ihnen auch nur einen Cent einbringen. Als es schon keine Hoffnung mehr zu geben scheint, wird die Gruppe auf einen Gesangs-Wettbewerb aufmerksam. Allerdings fällt es den Strolchen schwer, sich zu einigen, wer dabei antreten soll. Die Wahl fällt schließlich auf Alfalfa, jedoch scheint dieser nicht wirklich mit einer engelsgleichsten Stimme gesegnet zu sein. Wird es den Strolchen trotzdem gelingen, die Bäckerei und somit die besten Cupcakes der Welt zu retten?
