Kaum ein Schüler kommt zum Unterricht, weil die meisten von ihnen arbeiten müssen. Der Lehrer setzt sich schließlich mit seinen Bemühungen um Anerkennung durch, macht sich zugleich aber einen der Schüler zum Feind.
